Live Band Karaoke hits Swabbies June 16, and River Idol takes over the 3rd Tuesday slot starting in July.

This summer, we're setting up at Swabbies On The River on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. The series warms up June 16 with Live Band Karaoke, then River Idol takes the stage starting July 21. We bring the band, the lyrics monitor, and a wireless mic—you bring the vocals. Show up, grab a spot under the giant oak trees, and come sing.
No pre-recorded tracks or MIDI shortcuts—just a real four-piece rock band playing behind you under the shade of massive 60-foot trees. Grab a mic, grab a famous taco, and come sing on the Sacramento River.

Swabbies is a Sacramento landmark for a reason. Between the massive oak canopy and the smell of sizzling carnitas, it feels like the ultimate backyard party. We bring our full live setup right onto the wooden outdoor stage so you get the real feel of fronting a band.
You don’t need to be a professional singer. Our hosts are warm and relaxed, the crowd of regulars is already singing the chorus with you, and the lyrics monitor is bright and easy to read. Just grab a bucket of Pacifico, pick a song, and come make some noise.
